Around lunch, the sun broke through and we ventured out for our last lobster roll splurge.
The trees have literally turned colors overnight. Really pretty.
We have about 2 hours of sunlight before the fog moved back in. As we hiked the carriage roads to eagle lake and Jordan’s Pond.
Spotted a beaver den and dam.
The stone bridges were built in the early 1900’s.
The fog quickly moved back in.
When I say Acadia is crowded with small parking lots - it is not an overstatement. We left out on a hike and came back to a broken taillight and big dent. Someone backed into us. Had to be a truck as big as ours! Very sad face.
