Aspens and balloons - Day 2

We took a scenic drive 10,600 feet up into to the Cibola national forest to Sandia Crest in search of fall aspens after a morning of balloon watching.

They are just starting to change at the higher elevations. It started out at 75 degrees in Albuquerque when we left and was 53 degrees when we arrived at the top.

Aspens tend to cluster and are really beautiful against the pine evergreens.

Less balloons went off today. The weather was kinda iffy with some rain in the area.

I decided to focus on people and balloons that caught my attention.

This guy definitely was loving life! Ha!

This has gotta make you smile.

We have been hitting one craft brewery each day for beer and lunch . Today was Star Brothers. For me… a Bloody Mary was calling my name.
