Tip - start your day early at Acadia NP. We ate breakfast in the truck and started hiking before 8 to park our monster truck easily. As we were leaving, every parking lot was packed and road side parking went on for miles.
We hiked for 5 miles along ocean drive and completed the park loop by car.

Acadia is dog friendly after the summer rush is over!
Not sure was has gotten into some of the trees but they captured my attention.
We took the free shuttle bus into Bar Harbor for beer tasting and strolling the cute downtown area.
Ruby was pooped out! The shuttle bus allows dogs.
Trees are starting to turn!
