Should be found on Route 66!

Hey, there are a few roadside attractions in North Dakota!  Continuing the Route 66 theme…

We had to stop for diesel in Salem and saw Salem Sue - the worlds largest fiberglass Holstein Cow. Weighing in at 3 tons. Maintained by the local lions club!

The Enchanted Highway is a project by a local artist to bring tourist 30 miles down the road to his hotel. He is pretty talented - using scrap metal for his creations.

Checked off another national park with a stop at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The park has three sections - badlands, Missouri River and Elkhorn Ranch. Lots of bison- which after Teddy shot one in his younger years -  it gave him a love of North Dakota. Seems like a weird reason to appreciate a state, but there you go.
